Payday

Payday is every Thursday. Some banking institutions may make funds visible or available earlier, but Senior Solutions' official payday is Thursday.

  • You will receive a notification when your electronic check is available for viewing through the Paylocity Mobile App.
  • Bank timing may vary depending on your financial institution.
  • Questions about your paycheck should be directed to your Service Supervisor.

Payroll Calendar

The payroll calendar shows each pay period and the payday connected to that pay period. Use it to confirm when the hours you worked will be paid.

Payroll is 1 week in arrears This means you are paid after the weekly pay period has ended and payroll has been processed. Hours worked during a Sunday through Saturday pay period are paid on the Thursday connected to that closed pay period, not while that same pay period is still in progress.

Pay Periods

Employees are paid weekly via direct deposit when services are rendered within the pay period and the correct systems are used to clock in and out at every shift. Payroll is paid 1 week in arrears, meaning pay is issued after the pay period has ended and payroll has been processed.

Updated Pay Period Schedule Each pay period begins Sunday at 12:00 AM and ends Saturday at 11:59 PM. For the matching payday, use the payroll calendar.
  • Payroll is processed weekly.
  • Direct deposit is used for employee pay.
  • Correct clock-in and clock-out activity is required for smooth payroll processing.
  • If all required systems are used correctly, your paycheck should process with no issue.

Check Stubs

Check stubs are available through the Paylocity Self Service portal and the Paylocity Mobile App.

Earnings

Your check stub outlines earnings for the pay period.

Deductions

Deductions are shown clearly on your check stub.

Pay Rate Variances

Any variances in pay rates are outlined on the check stub.

Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is required for all employees. Direct deposit information is entered during the onboarding process.

You are the only person authorized to update your direct deposit information.
Use the Paylocity Self Service portal through a web browser to review or update direct deposit. Direct deposit updates are not currently available through the mobile app.

Withholdings (Taxes)

Your tax withholding amount depends on the selections made on your W4 in your electronic onboarding packet.

  • You can view or update withholding selections through the Paylocity Mobile App or through a web browser.
  • You are the only person authorized to make changes to your withholdings.
  • Senior Solutions cannot choose or change tax withholding selections for you.

W2

Your W2 will be available electronically through the Paylocity Mobile App or through a web browser.

  • If you want a paper copy mailed to your home address on file in Paylocity, request the proper form from your Scheduling Coordinator or Service Supervisor.
  • You will receive text and email alerts when W2s are available.
  • Follow the instructions in the alerts to obtain your W2.

Holidays & Overtime

Caregivers may be eligible for holiday pay and overtime based on the services rendered and hours worked.

Caregivers are eligible for holiday pay if services are rendered on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day.
Caregivers who work over 40 hours in a week qualify for overtime. Overtime is paid at a blended rate when an employee earns different wages for different roles and works overtime in any of those roles. Refer to your new hire folder for more detailed information and the FLSA example.
